This fabric is produced in Eastern Europe, in a region with a long tradition of textile craftsmanship, where natural fibre weaving has been part of local heritage for centuries. The hemp used in these fabrics is grown organically in Europe, primarily in France, the Netherlands, and Germany, before being spun, woven, and finished in Eastern Europe.

Lighter fabrics are gently bleached using oxygen-based systems, recognised as among the most environmentally responsible in the textile industry.
